This is student work from my time in grad school. For this campaign we did not target typical sports fans; but rather men who are more analytical and enjoy taking calculated risks. Yes, nerds.
Behind the scenes
Sometimes, you have to get scrappy. I shot all the images for this campaign in my apartment. I took everything off the walls, moved all the furniture, and took down all the Christmas decorations (it was the holiday season). I taped black matte wrapping paper on the wall for a backdrop. This was also shot in the middle of the pandemic so in order to minimize contact with talent I did lighting tests with my plastic Santa.
